Abstract:
The Goethehäuschen on the Kickelhahn is an important cultural site for the town of Ilmenau and the state of Thuringia. It is a representative of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's poetic work and the place where the world-famous lines of the "Wandrers Nachtlied" are written. It is also a popular excursion destination in the hiking region of the Thuringian Forest. The aim of this contribution is the presentation of a spatially high-resolution dataset of acoustic measurements, which will be used in a further project for the creation of a so-called Digital Twin. For this purpose, Spatial Room Impulse Responses were measured for eight source positions and for 55 measurement positions, distributed over two floors. A notable feature of the dataset is the sound propagation over two floors and the sound transmission in a wooden building with acoustically more or less sound-permeable walls and floors. The dataset, including documentation, will be made freely accessible on Zenodo.
