A procedure presented on DAGA 2021 considering Doppler-effect and distance law to simulate moving sound sources which radiate arbitrary signals and move on arbitrary trajectories was complemented by the well known vector based amplitude panning (VBAP) method for multi-loudspeaker setups. The position of the sound source can either be controlled by a pre-defined trajectory or interactively in real-time by using joysticks on a gamepad controller. Students partly supported this MATLAB based software development. A multi-loudspeaker system was recently set up by students as part of the audio technology module at BHT (Berliner Hochschule für Technik). This contribution presents an overview of system‘s hardware and software as well as some details of the realization using real-time capabilities of MATLAB‘s audio toolbox. Additionally, an outlook will be given about further tasks and applications for potential student projects.
